We’ve all heard about the problems and pitfalls of hosting on a website hosted by a service like Amazon, but the company also recently published a guide to how to check your hosting provider’s SSL status on Amazon and Netflix.
The guide, which was posted on Wednesday and offers a few tips on finding your hosting providers SSL status, can be found here.
In case you missed it, we covered how to use SSL certificates on Amazon earlier this week.
That guide has some interesting advice, such as the importance of using an SSL certificate that is publicly available.
Amazon has since updated its security guide to include SSL certificates for Netflix and Hulu.
The updated guide now has SSL certificates from Amazon and the following additional recommendations.
If you are using Amazon S3 for storage, ensure your credentials are in place for the Amazon S5 bucket, which can be accessed from the following URL: https://aws.amazon.com/aws-s3/awsS3.json.
If your Amazon S6 bucket is hosting a S3 bucket, ensure you’re in the correct bucket.
For instance, if your S6 buckets are both AWS S3 and AWS S5, then you should use the correct S3 buckets.
If you have multiple AWS buckets, you can use a single S3 account for each bucket, or use a separate bucket for each AWS S6.
Amazon has updated its AWS SSL certificate guide to list the S3 certificates for Amazon and all of its AWS buckets.
This information is available on the AWS website, as well as on Amazon’s AWS Security Portal.
The Amazon S4 certificate is also listed, as are the S5 and S6 certificates.
It’s important to note that you can’t just use an AWS S4 SSL certificate for your S5 or S6 accounts, as the S4 cert is no longer valid.
The S5 certificate is a separate certificate that has been validated.
You can use an S5 SSL certificate with your S4 accounts if you want to be sure your S3 accounts are properly secured.
Amazon also recommends that you have a copy of your AWS SSL keys on hand, as that’s a must for AWS services, such a Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Video.
You can also use an Amazon SSL certificate to create a new AWS account.
You’ll need to create an account and assign the credentials to it, but it should be a fairly straightforward process.
You only need to be able to access your account via the AWS API, so don’t worry if it takes a few tries.
If everything goes as expected, you should be able access your AWS account as soon as you create it.
You’ll need an AWS account in order to access AWS CloudFront, Amazon CloudFront Console, and other AWS services.
This will make it easier to get started with your Amazon AWS account, as you’ll have access to all the basic AWS features like Elasticsearch, Elastic Block Storage, and a bunch of other AWS features.
Amazon’s SSL certificate guides can be a bit daunting for new users, but we recommend using the following guide as a starting point.
If your hosting services aren’t listed on the list of supported services, you may need to add a couple of additional steps to get to that point.
If a website is not working, or you get errors during your SSL verification process, you’re more likely to be experiencing issues with your AWS credentials than the website itself.
If the site isn’t working at all, you need to look into the issue and resolve it before you try to access it.
For example, if you see a blank URL in your Amazon Console, you probably don’t have a valid AWS account for that domain, so you’ll need the following steps to fix the issue.
Go to https://console.aws.com and sign in with your Google account.
Go to the Settings menu.
Scroll down to the Security section.
Go back to the General section.
Check the box that says Enable HTTPS for the HTTPS page.
Click Save Changes.
If the problem persists, you’ll likely need to contact your hosting service about the issue, as they may need additional information about how to verify your AWS access.
