It is thought that Napoli will attempt to sign the Napoli forward Javi Kanzigetti, who has been linked with Juventus, Real Madrid, AC Paris St-Germain and Barcelona.
Napoli are willing to pay €4 million for the player, who was released by AC Milan on January 4.
A number of clubs have shown interest in the player but Juventus are believed to be the favourites.
However, Juventus have said that they do not want to sell Zanetti, although he would be free to join any other club.
Kanzigetti is expected to leave the Serie A champions this summer, and his departure would make the transfer fee for the 24-year-old even more difficult to negotiate.
With Zanetti being a long-term target, Juve have made it clear that they want to make it clear to him that they are prepared to make a significant transfer fee, and that they would not sell the player.
It is understood that Zanetti would prefer to leave Milan this summer as he has not enjoyed the success that he had in recent years.
At the moment, Milan are negotiating with Juventus for a transfer fee of €6.4 million, and Zanetti is believed to want to move to Serie A in the summer.
Juventus will now have to negotiate with AC Milan to agree a deal.
The former Inter Milan player has scored seven goals in 20 appearances for Milan this season, but he was not particularly productive in his first season in Italy.
In his second season, Zanetti scored 12 goals in 29 appearances, but Milan have also had some problems in the form of a host of injuries to key players.
After making it to the Champions League final, Zanotti’s season was ended prematurely when he suffered a knee injury.
