The Park Seok, a title chosen by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), will be presented on February 22, 2018 at the annual Academy Awards.
Park Seung, who has also written for Seo Yoon-jin, Kim Seong and Kim Seom-soo, said in a statement: “As a writer, I think it’s really important to think about what you’re doing when you’re in the booth, and I think that’s something that I’m really good at.
I think there’s something really fun in making people happy, and that’s why I’m grateful that I’ve had such a good life and been able to work on these characters, so that I could have a happy life with them.”
Park Seol-hyeon, the president of the Academy, said of the Park family: “The Park family is a special family of writers and producers.
It is a rare honor for an award-winning actress to receive the Park seo-kyu award, but we hope this award reflects that special feeling.
The award is given to the best copywriter for a South Korean comedy film, drama or drama series, and it’s a rare one for an actress to be chosen.”
